Quiz night kit · coming soon
Your quiz night, ready to run.
Three editions, each with sixty original questions in six rounds, a printed host guide and team sheets, and a presenter screen that never shows an answer until you reveal it. Free while we test with hosts.
Not on sale yet. No payment, no account, no app.
What’s in the kit
Everything comes from one checked source, so the screen, the host guide and the sheets always agree.
- Host guide (PDF)Your script, all 60 questions in order with answers, the variants to accept and the near-misses not to, a short explanation for every answer, a timing guide, dispute rules and tiebreakers.
- Team answer sheetsUS Letter and A4, plus a large-print set. One page per round and a tiebreaker slip.
- Picture-round handoutTen original drawings per edition, printed for every table so nobody has to squint at the screen.
- Presenter screenBig, clear slides for a TV or projector, moved with a clicker or the arrow keys. Works offline.
- Host view and scoringAnswers and notes for you, plus a score table for 2 to 20 teams with ties, corrections and voids kept in a visible history.
- Score and recovery sheetsRound scores, standings and a recovery sheet, so a flat laptop battery never ends the night.
Six rounds of ten
Mixed ages, nothing that needs local knowledge, and no song lyrics, film clips, brands or facts that go out of date.
- Everyday discoveriesScience you can find around the house and in your own body.
- Around the worldPlaces and geography. We use the usual English names; local and older spellings listed in the host guide are fine too.
- Then and nowHistory that stays put: voyages, firsts and things that are still here.
- Culture mixSports, food, books, music and art, old and new.
- Picture logicEvery question comes with a drawing on the screen and on your picture handout. Look closely: the picture holds half the answer.
- ConnectionsTen questions on anything at all, one point each. The ten answers have something in common: write the link in the bonus box for one extra point.
Plus a bonus point for spotting the link in the Connections round, and three number questions to settle a tie for first place.
3 editions
Every edition follows the same six rounds with 60 new questions, its own picture drawings, a new Connections link and new tiebreakers. Run them on different nights; no question repeats between editions.
- Edition 160 questions, a bonus and 3 tiebreakers. Reviewed 2026-10-19.
- Edition 260 questions, a bonus and 3 tiebreakers, plus 10 reserve questions. Reviewed 2026-10-22.
- Edition 360 questions, a bonus and 3 tiebreakers, plus 10 reserve questions. Reviewed 2026-10-22.
Fair on the night
The rules are written down before the first question, so nobody argues about them halfway through.
- Checked answersEvery answer was checked against at least two independent sources, listed in the host guide with the date each edition was reviewed.
- Clear markingAccepted spellings and near-misses are listed for each question, with the reason.
- Mistakes get fixed for everyoneA wrong or unclear question is voided for every team, and the score table keeps the history.
- Ties settled by numbersClosest number wins; equal differences go to the next tiebreaker.

Test the full kit at your event
We are looking for a few hosts of club, school and fundraiser quiz nights to run the full kit and tell us how it went: timing, unclear questions, anything that tripped you up. Testing is free. Ask for a link and we will email you a private copy of the whole kit, all 3 editions, usually within two working days.

Event-use licence
How the kit may be used once it is on sale. It is a draft for review and not yet in force; while you test, the kit is free for your own event.

Draft
Event-use licence (DRAFT, not yet in force)
This is a draft for review while the kit is tested. It is not an offer and nothing is for sale yet.
1. One event licence covers one named event at one venue, including preparation and rehearsal before that event.
2. At that event you may read the questions aloud, show the presenter screens to the audience and print as many answer sheets, picture handouts and score sheets as the event needs.
3. You may charge normal admission and raise funds at the event.
4. You may not resell or give away the kit, publish or share the questions or answers (online or in print), or record or broadcast the quiz for others to replay.
5. Running the kit at another public event needs another event licence. A cheaper household-only option may be offered separately and will be labelled clearly.
6. TWINDLE NEDERLAND B.V. keeps all rights in the questions, pictures and documents. Corrections are published per edition and never change an answer silently during an edition.
During the free test: test hosts may use this kit at one event of their own. Please do not pass the private link on. Questions: support@twindle.nl.

Can I buy the quiz kit?
Not yet. The full kit is free while we test it with a small number of hosts. Later it will be sold as a one-off download for a single event, and this page will say so clearly, with the price, before you pay anything.
How many editions are there?
Three. Each edition is a complete evening of 60 different questions in the same six rounds, with its own Connections bonus and tiebreakers, so a club can run one quiz night after another. Edition 1 was reviewed on 2026-10-19; Edition 2 was reviewed on 2026-10-22; Edition 3 was reviewed on 2026-10-22.
How long does the quiz take?
Each edition is written for about 90 minutes including a 10-minute intermission: six rounds of ten questions, read twice, with answers after each round. That is a pacing target; rehearsals with real hosts measure the actual time.
How many teams can play?
The host score table handles 2 to 20 teams, with ties, corrections and a printable recovery sheet. Teams answer on paper, so there is no limit from phones or Wi-Fi.
Do I need internet at the venue?
No. Open the presenter once before the event and it works offline. Without any screen, the printed host guide and sheets are enough to run the whole night.
What if a question turns out to be wrong?
The host guide explains how to void a question for everyone, and the score table records every void and correction. Corrections to an edition are published with a new version number, never changed silently.
Can we charge admission or raise funds?
The draft event-use licence below allows normal admission and fundraising at the one event it covers. It is a draft for review and not in force yet.
