Capitals
What is the capital of Bolivia? And Kingstown is the capital of …? 192 countries, four choices, no timer. After each answer a small map shows where the capital is.
A mixed round takes ten countries from all over the world.
Practise by pack
Packs are teaching groups. Regional packs follow the UN M49 regions (UN Statistics Division), grouped into eleven areas; each country is in exactly one of them. Difficulty packs reuse Atlas Play’s three familiarity tiers (the 60 starter countries, then well-known, then the rest). They are not official classifications.

How does a capitals round work?
Ten questions, four choices each, no timer. Most questions ask “What is the capital of …?”; some turn it round: “… is the capital of which country?”. Your first answer counts. The answer shows a small map with the capital, the population and one line about the capital from the data, such as where it lies in the country and the nearest other capital.
What about countries with more than one capital?
Bolivia, South Africa, the Netherlands and a few others split their capital between cities. For them the question asks for “a capital”, only one of their capitals is among the choices, and the answer lists every capital with its role (for example Sucre, constitutional capital, and La Paz, seat of government).
Why are some countries not asked?
Equatorial Guinea, Israel, Palestine: The sources disagree on the capital (Wikidata: Ciudad de la Paz; Natural Earth: Malabo) and no reviewed decision exists yet (shared dataset flag capitalReview); Jerusalem is the proclaimed capital and seat of government, but its status is disputed internationally (the shared dataset marks it as politically sensitive); The 1988 declaration proclaims Jerusalem (East Jerusalem) as the capital; the Palestinian Authority sits in Ramallah. The sources page explains each one.
Is there a daily capitals round?
Not yet. These modes are practice only. A daily round is written into an append-only schedule the moment it is published, so it can never be corrected afterwards; the capital and border data have not had a human review yet, so they stay in practice packs, which can be fixed at any time. The daily flag round is unchanged.
Do capital rounds change my streak?
No. Capital results are kept apart from your flag results and never change your daily flag streak.
