Make your embed code
Preview
Paste it where HTML is allowed: an “HTML”, “Custom HTML” or “Embed” block in most site builders and blogs.
For email newsletters
Emails can’t run puzzles, so here is a picture of today’s Size Duel question that links to the game. The picture changes every night just after midnight UTC.
Some email apps keep a copy of pictures, so a reader who opens your email days later may still see the question of the day they first opened it. A plain link works everywhere: nofussgames.com/#today.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Embedding is free for any website: blogs, newsletters’ web pages, schools, libraries, clubs and companies. There is nothing to sign up for, no key and no limit on visitors. There are no ads in the puzzles and none will be added.
What do my visitors see?
One puzzle from today’s real daily on No Fuss Games: the first duel of Size Duel or Older Than, the first question of Ballpark, or a 4×4 Sudoku. It changes by itself at midnight UTC, the same moment as the games. After answering, a link opens the full daily in a new tab.
Does it track my visitors?
No cookies, no ads, no profiles and nothing from other companies. Each time the puzzle opens we count one visit, plus the name of the website it is on (just the domain, such as example.org, never the page address), with Umami, statistics we run ourselves. The visitor’s answer for the day is kept in their own browser so it stays answered if they reload; it is never sent to us.
Will it slow down my page?
The code loads the puzzle only when it scrolls into view (loading="lazy"). It is a small page from nofussgames.com, about 25 KB compressed for a duel. Nothing loads from any other website. The resize script is under 1 KB.
Do I need the resize script?
No. Without it the puzzle keeps the height in the code and scrolls inside its box when the answer opens. With it, the box grows and shrinks to fit the puzzle exactly.
Can I use it in an email newsletter?
Email apps don’t run embedded puzzles, so use the image link below: a picture of today’s Size Duel question that links to the game. We draw a new picture every night just after midnight UTC.
Does it work on phones and with a keyboard?
Yes. Each puzzle fits a column from 320 to 600 pixels wide, follows light or dark mode, and can be played with a keyboard or a screen reader: cards and squares are buttons with labels, and the Ballpark guess is a labelled text field.
Terms in one paragraph
You may embed these puzzles on any website or web page, free of charge, using the code on this page. Please keep them as they are: don’t change the puzzles or their wording, don’t hide or remove the No Fuss Games name and link, don’t cover them or frame them as your own work, and don’t place them on pages that are unlawful, hateful or misleading. We may change, improve or stop an embed at any time, and if an embed is ever retired, its box will say so. The puzzles are provided as they are, without guarantees. Questions: support@twindle.nl.
