The Thirteenth Chime
The clock shop on Mill Lane is full of ticking, and on the hour everything chimes at once. Ada, Kit and Hugo were all browsing on Tuesday. At one o’clock, the great grandfather clock strikes thirteen.
What happened
At the clock bench, the grandfather clock was put out of step with the chime hammer.
- Ada Penroseretired librarian

Opens on Thursday 4 February, when it’s the daily case. Every daily opens on its day, the same for everyone. Until then, try a practice case or a past daily.
The clues and your notebook open together. Time only counts while the case is open.
