The Swapped Rosettes
The village green is full of scarecrows, and the judges have just pinned on their rosettes. Basil has entered a scarecrow made of bread rolls, Cora is admiring the straw work and Greta is pricing a scarecrow’s waistcoat. Ten minutes later, first and last place have changed places.
What happened
The rosettes by the duck pond were swapped over and tied on again with the ball of twine.
- Basil Okaforbaker
- Cora Lindqvisthead gardener at the allotments
- Greta Vosantiques dealer
Opens on Tuesday 20 October, when it’s the daily case. Every daily opens on its day, the same for everyone. Until then, try a practice case or a past daily.
The clues and your notebook open together. Time only counts while the case is open.
