The Opened Present
Fernley’s Secret Santa swap at the Fernley Inn has one rule: nobody opens anything until the mayor has been. Edie, Hugo and Lena were all at the inn early to help set up. When the mayor arrives, her present has already been opened.
What happened
On the landing, the mayor’s present was slit open with the paper knife and wrapped up again, badly.
