The Missing Invitation
The spring dance is on Saturday and the hall is half decorated. Ada, Dev and Kit have volunteered for the afternoon. The mayor’s invitation, pinned up for everyone to admire, is gone.
What happened
The invitation was taken from the noticeboard in the cloakroom, and a blot of ink from the fountain pen was left behind.
