The Lamb in the Kitchen
In February, Brook Farm invites helpers to sit up with the ewes at night. Kit, Greta and Felix all signed up for Thursday. At dawn, the farmer finds one tiny lamb fast asleep in front of the range.
What happened
In the farmhouse kitchen, a lamb was fed with the feeding bottle and tucked up by the range.
