Fernley woke up to its first proper snow in years, and nobody went to work on time. Kit, Cora and Dev were all out before breakfast. By ten o’clock, the best snowman in town has lost its head.

What happened

In the school playground, the snowman’s head was knocked clean off by the sledge.
