Fernley’s maritime museum has a tiny three-masted ship in a bottle, made by a lighthouse keeper a century ago. Cora, Basil and Iris visited on Tuesday. On Wednesday, the bottle is still on its shelf, but it is empty.

What happened

In the model room, the little ship was drawn out of its bottle with the long tweezers.
