The Message in a Bottle
After a storm, Fernley’s beachcombers go out at dawn to see what the sea has brought. Felix, Hugo and Kit were all on the sand. A message in a bottle, signed ‘a sailor, 1906’, turns out to be written in felt-tip.
What happened
On the sea wall, a fresh message was rolled into the old bottle.
