Privacy
Football Club is run by Idistic, the product studio of TWINDLE NEDERLAND B.V. (the Netherlands). We collect as little as possible: there is no account, and we never ask for your name or email.
Your progress
The answers you found on each list, your best result per list, the lists of the day you finished and your theme are stored in your browser’s local storage on your device, under keys starting with fc1: (League Atlas: one fc1:map: key per league map, with where you put your pins and your best average distance). What you type in the answer box is checked in the page itself and never sent anywhere. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes it all.
Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool we host ourselves at stats.idistic.com. It sets no cookies and builds no profile. Besides page views it counts a few events: a visit started, a list started (untimed or timed) or finished (how many you found and how it ended), a practice round started, a result shared, a setting changed and a link to another Idistic site followed. The names you type are never sent. The details are in the legal details below.
Offline play
To load quickly and work offline, your browser keeps a copy of the pages and scripts. This copy stays on your device.
Hosting
The site is hosted on a server in Germany (Hetzner). Like every web server, it briefly processes your IP address to deliver the page. Football Club makes no other requests: no ads, no third-party fonts or images. Source links open other sites only when you choose to follow them.
Contact
Questions or requests about your data: support@twindle.nl.
The legal details
This part is what the GDPR (article 13) asks us to tell you, kept short.
Who is responsible
Football Club is run by TWINDLE NEDERLAND B.V. (trading as Idistic), a Dutch private limited company. That company is the controller for the personal data described on this page. Contact: support@twindle.nl (English or Dutch). Company details.
What we use, why, and for how long
- Sending you the pages. Our web server uses your IP address and the address of the page you ask for, only to answer the request. We keep no access logs. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Visitor statistics. With Umami, which we host ourselves, we count page views and a few game events: the page, the site you came from, your browser, operating system, device type, screen size and language. Umami works out your country, region and city from your IP address without storing the address, and recognises repeat visits within a month by a one-way code made from your IP address, browser details and a secret that changes every month, which cannot be turned back into either. It sets no cookies and cannot follow you from one site to another. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in learning which pages and games people use, so we can improve them (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Kept: 25 months.
- When you email us. Your email address and your message, to answer you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in helping you (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), or our contract with you when it is about a purchase (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Kept: up to 2 years after the conversation ends.
For these statistics, this site keeps fc1:session in session storage: a marker that this visit was already counted as started; your browser deletes it when you close the tab. Nothing else in your browser is used for statistics.
On your device only, this site also keeps nfg:hist:footballclub in local storage: your own game history (games started and finished per month, the days you played and your best scores), kept on your device for your year recap; and nfg:calm in local storage: whether you turned on Calm (large cards and text, strong contrast, no clock or scores, sounds off), shared by every No Fuss game on this device. They are never sent to us or anyone else, and statistics don’t use them.
On your device only, this site keeps fc1:list:<list> in local storage: one per list you play: the answers you found so far, whether the run is timed, whether it is finished, and a practice round of the ones you missed, so you can carry on later; fc1:best in local storage: your best result on each list (how many you found, out of how many, and the date); fc1:days in local storage: the lists of the day you finished on their own day and how many you found, so the home page can show today’s result; fc1:map:<league> in local storage: one per League Atlas map you play: where you put each pin, how far off it was, which club is next, a practice round of the far ones, whether you use the map or the four-town list, and your best average distance; and fc1:settings in local storage: your theme choice (automatic, light or dark). They are never sent to us; clearing this site’s data removes them.
Who else is involved
- Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) runs the servers this site and our services use, in its data centre in Nuremberg, Germany, as our processor.
- Nobody else. We don’t sell data and don’t share it with advertisers.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal data we have about you, to correct or delete it, to restrict its use, or to give it to you in a format you can take elsewhere. You can also object to what we do on the basis of legitimate interest (statistics). Email support@twindle.nl; we answer within one month. Because we don’t ask who you are, we often can’t link stored data to you; tell us which site you used and when, and we’ll do what we can. Data kept in your own browser is yours: clear this site’s data in your browser settings to delete it. Every No Fuss Games game lives on nofussgames.com, so clearing that site’s data removes your progress in all of them at once; each game keeps its own saves under its own names, so nothing else is affected. A content blocker that blocks stats.idistic.com stops the statistics entirely; the site works the same.
You never have to give us personal data to use this site. We make no automated decisions about you.
If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or to the authority in your own country. We’d appreciate hearing from you first.
